Adverts questions

  1. Five slogans that have been recently used are "I am Loving It" from McDonalds.
Another one is called "Better ingredients Better Pizza" which is from Papa Johns
Additional advert is from ps4 which says "It Is For The Players"
A fourth is  "Live Well For Less" which is from Sainsbury's
And finally "Every Little Helps" this is from Tesco

      2.   Ads such as THINK and the NHS use a lot of shock tactics. For example They used a shock tactic in one of their adverts with a baby breathing in smoke form a cigarette. This is Effective because when we see a baby we see them as innocent, and seeing them breathing In smoke makes us feel sympathy for the baby as it is breathing in poisoning chemicals. THINK is about cars are motorcyclist. This shows motorcyclist driving innocently then which then involve them not seeing a car and getting hit by it which then ends in a terrible death. This also makes us feel sympathy  as it will be sad when that person family know that he/she got hit by a car. This makes them shocking.

       3. In some advertisements you have alpha male which are shown in men drinking beer/cider. Also you just have gender as a stereotype by it self. For example the Yorkie advert shows a girl trying ti get a Yorkie chocolate bar but she cant have it because she is a girl.

        4. An example is shown in this Sky Advert https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BBQqHKxDGmM

          5.  There are many ways music is used in advertisement. For example music can be used to engage the viewer. It then can change the viewer perspective on the brand or product that is being shown off. And finally it can significantly effect the emotional response to television commercials.

          6. An advert that i can justify Maslows hierarchy needs is a McDonalds advert.  The reason for this is because the advert has to do with food. This is in the basic needs section
