`this advert is very moving advert. The reason of this is because they use a kid running away from bomb explosions and gun shots. This makes us feel sad for the child however it is also upsetting as it is on the girl birthday these events occur.

Adverts questions
- Five slogans that have been recently used are "I am Loving It" from McDonalds.
Additional advert is from ps4 which says "It Is For The Players"
A fourth is "Live Well For Less" which is from Sainsbury's
And finally "Every Little Helps" this is from Tesco
2. Ads such as THINK and the NHS use a lot of shock tactics. For example They used a shock tactic in one of their adverts with a baby breathing in smoke form a cigarette. This is Effective because when we see a baby we see them as innocent, and seeing them breathing In smoke makes us feel sympathy for the baby as it is breathing in poisoning chemicals. THINK is about cars are motorcyclist. This shows motorcyclist driving innocently then which then involve them not seeing a car and getting hit by it which then ends in a terrible death. This also makes us feel sympathy as it will be sad when that person family know that he/she got hit by a car. This makes them shocking.
3. In some advertisements you have alpha male which are shown in men drinking beer/cider. Also you just have gender as a stereotype by it self. For example the Yorkie advert shows a girl trying ti get a Yorkie chocolate bar but she cant have it because she is a girl.
4. An example is shown in this Sky Advert https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BBQqHKxDGmM
5. There are many ways music is used in advertisement. For example music can be used to engage the viewer. It then can change the viewer perspective on the brand or product that is being shown off. And finally it can significantly effect the emotional response to television commercials.
6. An advert that i can justify Maslows hierarchy needs is a McDonalds advert. The reason for this is because the advert has to do with food. This is in the basic needs section

This is one of the John lewis christmas adverts. I will breaking this video down to try to find out who the target audience is and the message that is being conveyed, and also if the message is convincing and why.
As we all know John lewis love to make adverts as they sell a big variety of products. For example lights to tablets. However John lewis also like to make christmas adverts and release them to the public via TV, phoned, laptops and any other devices for everyone to see. They release these adverts around late November to the beginning of December. This is to get customers to go shop at John lewis for christmas so they can get more money. John lewis Adverts are normally targeted at adults as most of their products are adult like such as different styles of lights , etc. On the other hand when it comes to christmas, John lewis Adverts are aimed at everyone form quite a young age.
This Advert is about a lilt girl looking up at the Moon, she then see a old man all by himself and all lonely. Then when it comes to christmas she gives the man on the moon a present. As she feels upset for the old man as he is all alone at christmas.
The target audience for this advert is everyone from a young age to an adult. The message that is in this message is not to forget about old people. I know this as you see a old man on the moon whereas everyone else is on Earth. Everyone on Earth is happy as they are with family however the old man on the moon is all alone. I think this message is really effective and convincing as when you see the man all by himself you start to feel sympathy. Also earn he gets the present form the little girl you start to feel happy as you know he has someone that is looking out for him and watching over him. This then makes me feel like to go help old people and try to take care of them. So I think this message is really convincing
