In this essay I will be talking about what cross platform advertising is. I will also be talking about ads that are on cross advertising plat forming and how this gives them a advantage for doing cross platform advertising and also how this helps company's or organisations to attract customers for that certain product or place.

Advertisements are critical for company’s as this is how they get new customers to come buy products and to shop in that company. Advertisements can be seen on TV, phones and Internet. Advertisements are everywhere. Advertisements main role is to sell a type of product or place to try get new customers to go buy that product or just to try to get them into the shop itself and they may buy something else. Cross platform Advertising is when there is lot of the same advert however on many different things. For example a new McDonalds burger can be on a phone then later seen on the TV then later seen on a billboard. This is what cross platform advertising is. This enables the advertisements for that product or place to then go further and attract more people across the country and hopefully try to be successful.

Cross platform advertisement is a way to advertise a product or a place over a raw range. For example advertising a new game on a TV can then move to be advertising on a billboard and attract customers all over the country.

This is a music video from Meghan Trainor She was 21 when she made this music video. The music video is called "Dear Future Husband". There are many cameras in this music video. For example mid shots close ups and long shots. There is mainly one long shot and that is at the start of the music video to show you the setting and where the music video is set and where most of the action is going to be happening. In the beginning of the video there is also a zoom. This is when the camera zooms in but does it unnoticeable and zooms in on a subject. This happens right at the beginning of the video. This music video is based on a housewife looking for a husband and giving little tips for the men to try to be with her. This is based in the time era of the 1990s. I say this just by the say she cleans in her house and the type of clothing she is wearing. However there are many close ups in this music video. This is because she is the main star and all attention must be on her. This also shows that she is the boss in the music video and that she makes the decision and the decision of what man she wants. Also there are many mid shot to show each man that has tried to impress her and how he has done it. She is also very demanding in the music video for example "buy me a ring". This just shows she just in charge. Another way shows that she is in charge is when she says that she is sleeping on the left side of the bed and telling the man that he has to sleep on the right side of the bed.  There is also an over the shoulder shot at the end of the music video as we see Charlie Puth foe the first time in the music video. It also shows the music video as unoriginal as Charlie Puth hands her pizza however all the other men have try to cook for her show strength to impress however he wins over every other man as he gives her a takeaway pizza. The reason for this because you wouldn't hand a pizza to try to get a housewife. You would have tried to impress her with strength and muscle etc.

What i did to prepare for my one min video was that I created a story bored. This helped me as it helped me to remember what I had to say in the video. On the story bored i put all my different scenes and times. This broke the 1 minute video down in smaller parts for me and helped me to not make mistakes during the video. On the story bored I could also draw out the scene. This only gave me a little understanding of the scene. Also behind the camera I had the stuff I wanted to talk about in front of me. This only helped me if I forgot what to say this would help me to remember what to say. For example I had my laptop in front of me with youtube on it. This made me to talk about my youtube channel.

Representation between Age

This video i am gonna represent is called "it everyday Bro". This song is by team 10. This is a american group that do vlogs on youtube and just day to day life videos. The group members of team 10 are around 18-21. They are still classified as teenagers and young adults. The leader if the group is called Jake paul. He has is own youtube channel and is very successful. He has around 10 million subscribers. However in the song "It Everyday Bro"Jake Paul is shown as cocky as he is "Dissing" someone. Therefore he also just not really approachable. I say this because of the way how he starts singing and when he starts doing hand jesters.

To a elderly person, Jake paul would be shown as immature and stupid. I say this because during the video he has a tattoo of a gun on his leg. This a Mid shot as one of the other group members also have the gun tattoo on his leg. Another thought would be disrespectful as in the video there is a lot of swearing and just bad language.

The clothes that they wear are tracksuits bottoms, t shirts and jumpers. These type of clothing are just shown as typical teenager/ young adult type of clothing. The clothing is shown in low angle shots and mid shots.

The props they use in the music video above, are cars and watches. This age all they want is fast cars and all the bling. This sums up teenagers and what they like and are interested in. The stereotype of team 10 is just a typical teenager as they all like the same interested and till behaviour like a teenager. Jake paul encodes in his music video that when people are not wit the group and are not obeying the rules that they get kicked out. The viewers that are watching this are then decoding that he is a serious guy when it comes to his group.

This is the Inbetweeners movie trailer and this sums up everything about teenagers. It tells many old people that all that teenagers think about is sex drugs and alcohol. This is shown in the first few scenes when one of the characters are talking about what they want in their two weeks of their holiday. This Film gives teenagers and young adults a bad name as the characters in this film like drugs and alcohol . It also makes people judge teenagers as irresponsible. Also the use of bad language in this trailer make people think teenagers are not sensible. Also the close up on what they wear with the words "pussay Patrol" also shows that Teenagers are not respectful and that they don't care about other people and that they might take a offence to it. However teenagers would find it really funny as the character are based around their age, and this will make it more funny for teenagers rather than a elderly person. Also teenagers would enjoy this because they might like their style. For example the clothes that they wear and just generally their attitude to other people.

The stereotypes in this trailer/ film are different however similar at the same time. For examples they all have a stereotype of a teenager and they just want to do drugs, and have sex. but also their personality mixes in their stereotypes. As their are 4 different people in this group. You have a geek, who don't want to get in trouble. You have a lad /leader who tells the group what to do however he not really successful and he makes up lies to try and impress the group. You have the sidekick who is the second hand man. Lastly you have the shy guy who also just wants to take everything safe and don't want to take any risks. As he kinda has the same personality as the geek
This trailer encodes it will be a funny film to teenagers as the characters in the film are teenagers and some teenagers can easily rate to them. Te audience then decodes this trailer as to be funny and that the trailer is going to also be about sex and drugs etc.
